From the Highway:

• If you’re coming from Florence take the exit Lucca Est and continue on the SS12 (Viale Europa). Go straight on, pass over a sort of bridge and arrive at a round-about. Take the second exit (the first one turns immediately right). Keep on this street and follow the Walls, untill you reach a second round-about. Here, take the first exit and turn right. Enter the city centre from Porta Santa Maria and park in this square for Via Santa Gemma is only for people who live in the city centre. 

• If you’re coming from Viareggio, just exit at Lucca Est and follow the instruction above.

 

From the Train station:

• On foot: with your back at the station, follow the Walls going in a right direction untill you find Porta Elisa on you left. Now enter the city centre e go straight on in Via Elisa untill you reach Via dei Fossi on the right. Take this street and at the end turn left in Via della Quarquonia. The turn right in Via Santa Gemma Galgani. GO straight on untill you find n°8.

• By taxi: there is a taxi station outside the train station. Taxis can enter in Via Santa Gemma.
